A 64-year-old man has killed 58 people, and injured more than 500, after opening fire into the crowd at a country music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stephen Paddock, a resident of a Mesquite, Nevada, retirement home, entered into the Mandalay Bay hotel, and used the window from his 32nd-floor room to shoot into the crowd across the street, the ABC reports.
The gunman shot into the crowd with more than 10 weapons, which included machine guns and rifles, before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting—which has been hailed as the largest mass shooting in U.S. history, eclipsing 2016’s deadly Pulse Nightclub shooting, which took the lives of 49—killed 58, and injured more than 515. Authorities have confirmed more deaths and injuries are still being recorded.
Since news of the shooting broke, celebrities all around the world have taken to social media to show their support and love.
