Whilst, admittedly, the ‘Duchess of Cambridge’ (and later, ‘Queen of England‘) is a hard title to stand next to, it has been revealed that Pippa Middleton won’t be left out in the cold when it comes to royal titles after her own marriage.
Even though her new fiancé James Matthews doesn’t use the title publicly, his father holds the personage of ‘Laird of Glen Affric’, which comes with a 10,000 acre estate in the Scottish Highlands.

Upon the occasion of her marriage, Pippa will be able to use the title ‘Mrs Matthews of Glen Affric the younger’, if she wants, and will become ‘Lady Glen Affric’ when her father-in-law passes away.
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Philippa, Lady of Glen Affric, sounds a bit better, don’t you think?
