The Met Gala guest list is famously under lock and key. Outside of the co-chairs and committee members, it’s anyone’s guess who will actually be attending. Still, given it’s fashion’s night of nights, we can safely assume every celebrity who’s been making serious buzz over the past few months will have secured an invite. What Is The 2025 Met Gala Theme?
The Met Gala theme for 2025 is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This theme reflects the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition of the same name, a retrospective on the history of Black dandyism in culture inspired by the work of Professor Monica Miller’s work Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.

This year, the Met Gala dress code is “Tailored For You.” This is relatively straightforward for a dress code closely aligned with the event’s theme.
When Is The Met Gala 2025 Australia Time?
The Met Gala is hosted on “the first Monday in May” every year. This year, it will be held on May 5th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
