Get ready—the 70th annual Emmy Awards are officially here.

Honouring the best shows that we’ve both watched on TV and no doubt binge-streamed on our small screens, the fight for the top spot has never been tighter, with cult-favourite shows including The Crown, Game Of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things and This Is Us all in fierce competition.

And with the strong acting talents of nominees also comes opulent gowns, delicate details—and without fail, at least one near-naked dress.

After a politically-charged year on awards show red carpets—with celebrities donning black outfits for #MeToo and wearing orange pins to support the end of gun violence earlier in the year—red carpet attendees may also adorn their red carpet attire with a symbol for a cause close to theirs, and Hollywood’s, hearts.
