Canada Goose has introduced its second seasonal capsule under the creative direction of Haider Ackermann, marking a significant shift in the brand’s design approach. Titled Wild Horizon, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, designed under the brand’s heritage label Snow Goose, reflects Ackermann’s vision of merging modern performance wear with a spirit of exploration and self-expression.

In Wild Horizon, Ackermann reimagines the performance legacy of Canada Goose, bringing it into the lightness and warmth of summer. The collection transcends function, pushing the boundaries of what outerwear can represent, where each piece becomes a bridge to nature, not a barrier. “I wanted to peel away the layers,” Ackermann explains, “of clothing, of convention, of expectation… It’s a quiet rebellion… We’re playing with beauty, with freedom.”

With this capsule, Ackermann invites a rethinking of outerwear: lightweight, breathable designs crafted to endure the elements without compromising style. Key pieces in the collection include the Valor Parka, a workwear-inspired version of the FW24 Rider Parka, reworked for warmer weather, and the Edge Pant, designed in lightweight cotton with oversized pockets.

The Zephyr Jacket, a performance-driven windbreaker, and the Rigel Jogger, a staple in Ackermann’s personal wardrobe, further embody the spirit of exploration. Additionally, graphic elements like Can You Hear the Birds? and Find Me Where the Wildflowers Are juxtapose movement with stillness, reflecting Ackermann’s pursuit of serenity in both nature and travel.

The collection is defined by a carefully curated colour palette, including shades like Arctic Mist blue and Violet Eclipse purple, balanced by earthy khakis and beiges. These colours are paired with the dynamic textures and silhouettes that make the collection stand out.

As a precursor to the launch, Ackermann hosted a three-day desert expedition in Utah, where a coterie of guests experienced the collection firsthand while traversing the untamed landscape. The capsule, which merges high-performance with modern design, is now available globally, with additional product drops scheduled throughout the summer.
