Tonight is the AFL’s night of nights, when the nation’s finest footballers (and their significant others) get to dress up and celebrate the game that so many Australians love – as well as each other. While the Brownlow Medal may exist to recognise the best players of the sporting season, it’s also become famous for the glamorous fashion looks on the red carpet, thanks to the players’ partners.

The term WAG doesn’t scratch the surface to describe the women in attendance, especially when so many of the plus-ones are celebrities, business women, models, journalists and athletes in their own right. So let’s forget the players (for the moment) and let the ladies shine. Tonight, we’re here for the capital-G glamour that the likes of Rebecca Judd, Ariarne Titmus, Rebecca Maddern, Dee Salmin, and Abbey Holmes have brought to the red carpet.
From Emilia Wickstead to J’Aton Couture, Rachael Gilbert to Lillian Khallouf, there’s some incredible designer fashion to inhale – as long as you don’t mind a side of sequins.
Scroll through for all the high-impact looks.
