Australian television and film’s night of nights is upon us, with celebrities descending on the Gold Coast for the AACTA Awards 2024.
The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, hosted by Foxtel, is being held on the Gold Coast this year at Queensland’s Home Of The Arts (HOTA) centre.
This year’s red carpet is expected to raise the bar, thanks to some local nominees with big, international style credentials. Think: Dior ambassador Alycia Debnam Carey, Loewe front row regular Sophie Wilde, and Australia’s first Lancome beauty ambassador, Aisha Dee. We’ve also been graced by some of our most stylish exports, Cate Blanchett and Barbie herself, Margot Robbie.
These nominees are joined by other major names in the Australian and international film industries, including Sigourney Weaver, Julia Garner, Simon Baker and Hugo Weaving.
While we can’t expect all of them to show off their finest on the red carpet (here’s hoping), there will be plenty to celebrate in the fashion department, and during the awards.
