THE RUNDOWN
- On Sunday, December 7, Edward Doak and Conor Maysey were evicted from the Big Brother house.
- This was the last eviction before the finale on December 8.
- The round leaves Coco, Colin, Allana, Bruce and Emily to face down in the finale.
The popularity of the Big Brother 2025 season has come as a shock to us all. For the past few years, while the American and British versions of the show have continued with the classic format, the Australian iteration of Big Brother has operated as more of a dystopian game show than a social experiment.
So, when Channel 10 announced that the reality show was going back to its roots, with live nominations and eliminations (and of course, public voting), plus a 24-hour live stream, we were quite suddenly optimistic. Add that a seasoned host in Mel Tracina signed onto the project and that the show returned to its original home at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, and it was enough to have us tuning in.
In the early days of the show, we were reminded why the show was so addictive in the ’00s. Open conversations between people from all backgrounds and with a variety of political backgrounds, Big Brother 2025 has got its mojo back.
But along with the exciting new season, of course, came the nominations and inevitable social tensions. In the first week, Jane found herself up for nomination after failing to hide from her housemates after entering as the 13th housemate. During the live nominations, Jane was joined by controversial housemate Michael and Holly, who has become somewhat of a polarising character in the house. With Michael leaving the show the first week, we all wondered who would be next to go.
In week four, we saw the final eviction. Coco, Colin, Conor and Edward were all on the chopping block. Edward was eliminated in a surprise letter reading, and Conor’s elimination broke hearts. We’re now left with Coco, Colin, Allana, Bruce and Emily to face the finale tonight.
Ahead, find a rolling list of exactly who has been eliminated from Big Brother 2025, and check back in each week as we update it. It’s time to go…
Edward

In the finale elimination round before the actual finale, sales manager Edward Doak was evicted in a surprise twist. When letters from home were read to the remaining housemates, Edwards’ elimination was revealed on the finale page of his letter, which turned out to be from Big Brother himself, not his loved ones. While fans thought it was a low blow, maybe he’ll have time to get a girlfriend now.
Conor

In a double eviction on Sunday, disability advocate Conor Maysey was sent home. Edward had already been eliminated in the brutal letter reading, and the eviction came down to Coco, Colin and Conor. Conor was considered a sweetheart in the Big Brother house, telling fans and housemates he wasn’t there for the cash but to raise awareness for Tourette’s syndrome by giving Australia a look into his daily life. In a moving moment in the series, he shared with housemates that his tics had become less obvious during the time in the house because of how safe and accepted he felt there. Needless to say, his elimination was a tear-jerker.
Abiola

Abiola, who described herself as a “fat, Black, lesbian” when she entered the house, became a fan favourite over the series, clashing with Holly. Her exit last week caused some confusion in the week leading up to evictions. Viewers noticed a bed had been removed from the house and heard Emily and Alanna discuss Abiola’s favourite beanbag being MIA. “Abs is gone… Abs loved her Clark Rubber beanbag, and now Abs is gone,” Emily said. The conversation was quickly muted on the livestream. Abiola was originally nominated last week alongside Holly, Vinnie, Bruce, and Connor. But she was saved at the last minute by Alanna, who used her Head of Housemates’ power. But, according to the Daily Mail, Abiola walked on Day 20 after accepting a $15,000 walk-out prize. She’ll be missed.
Holly

Holly became a love-to-hate watch character during her time on Big Brother, but she has now exited the building. The controversial contestant, who feuded with Fabiola, was voted out on Sunday’s elimination. Holly admitted that life in the house was “a lot harder than I anticipated.” But said “Something very, very, very special has come out of it, and I think you guys all know what that is.” We suspect she’s referring to 21-year-old housemate Colin, with whom she enjoyed a steamy romance, and is now broken-hearted. Will love last beyond the house? “So, I’m wishing him [Colin] all the very best,” sounds like a possible no. Holly named Colin the final Head Housemate, meaning he will be safe from the next round of nominations.

Mia
It came as a shock to the housemates that a second person would be eliminated on the second elimination night. But the twist was much bigger than that, with viewers being given the chance to call the house live, where a housemate would answer and the caller will tell them who is safe and who is evicted from the house. Ed answered, and in the end, it was Mia who was evicted.
“I just couldn’t believe that I got chosen for this. I’ve met so many incredible people and learned so much,” she told Tracina within moments of leaving the house. “I’ll keep being me.”

Jane
The 13th housemate to enter the house, Jane has a short and controversial stay in the 2025 Big Brother house. In her final week in the house, Jane came to blows with a few of the men in the house, claiming that they were all “disrespectful for women”, which is something they all disagreed with. After a further argument with Bruce, they agreed to disagree and appeared to move on from the drama. But alas, her time in the house quickly came to an end just a few short days later.
“It’s absolutely been disgusting. It’s been a bit inappropriate, a shock,” she said of living with the 20-something men in the house. “I did lose it, I didn’t take it very well, but that’s just me.”

Michael
Michael was the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house on November 16. This followed the first week of competition, that saw Michael ruffle feathers with his “honesty”. Michael quickly became known for his no-filter approach to speaking to housemates and often stole extra bigs of food from the kitchen and worked his fellow housemates up.
“I’m an emotionless man,” Michael joked after his eliminations. “I went in to ruffle feathers and here I am.” In his interviews with the media one day on from his eviction from the house, Michael has also revealed whether he would ever go on a different reality show, but he admits that it’s unlikely. “I’m too old to be on Love Island, I’m too short to be on The Bachelor and I wouldn’t do MAFS because I don’t want to be thrown into a bed with a woman I don’t know with three kids watching,” he told Women’s Day. “So, I think Big Brother is perfect for me!”
