Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is officially streaming on Netflix and this time, the stakes are higher, the routines sharper, and the rookie class bigger than ever.
Once again, long time DCC leaders Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell are at the helm, tasked with assembling a team worthy of dancing under the lights of AT&T Stadium where AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” plays as the unofficial battle cry. The new episodes pick up just before the final round of auditions for the 2024–2025 season and follow the journey from high-pressure tryouts to rigorous training camp, painful cuts, and the high of making the final roster.
With only 23 of 36 veterans returning this year, there’s more room than usual for fresh talent, drawn from nearly 500 applicants. Below, we revisit the veterans, meet the standout rookies, and check in on where the squad stands since the cameras stopped rolling.
Kelli Finglass

Before she was directing the most competitive cheerleading squad in the NFL, Kelli Finglass was on the field herself. A former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from 1984 to 1989, Finglass took over as director in 1991 and has spent the decades since turning the DCC into a global brand. Her leadership style remains as sharp as ever—disciplined, exacting, and rooted in high standards.
Since filming wrapped on Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts, Finglass has kept a relatively low profile. She’s been spending time with family, recently sharing a post celebrating her son Ryan’s completion of a 31-mile ultra-marathon. She also joined him on the Beavers Wealth Management podcast for a Mother’s Day episode, and casually addressed speculation about cosmetic surgery in a video posted to Instagram—dismissing it with characteristic composure.
Judy Trammell

A Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from 1980 to 1984, Judy Trammell has shaped the squad’s signature choreography since stepping into the role of head choreographer in 1991. More than four decades later, she remains the creative force behind the iconic routines that have defined the DCC’s global appeal.
Since wrapping Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts, Trammell has been back on the road, joining Kelli Finglass and select squad members on a cross-country press tour for the show. In between appearances, she’s marked major personal milestones, including her son’s 40th birthday and the announcement of a fifth grandchild on the way.
Shelly Bramhall

Shelly Bramhall wears many hats at DCC including Associate Choreographer, Event Coordinator, and behind-the-scenes powerhouse. But this season, her profile hits closer to home. Her daughter, Dayton, auditioned for the squad in America’s Sweethearts Season 2, only to be cut, an emotional twist made more intense by Shelly’s role on staff.
Off the field, Shelly keeps busy running DCC youth camps, coordinating travel for the Show Group and coaching at the academy. Dayton returned this year for another tryout, wearing the DCC training uniform in early June. But according to the team’s final roster, she didn’t make the 2025 squad.
Though she’s stepped away from the squad for now, Dayton continues to dance, proving her resilience both on and off the field.
Chandi Dayle

Chandi Dayle’s sixth season with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders was her most defining yet. She reached career highs, earning a coveted co-point position, a Pro Bowl selection, and widespread fan support. However, behind the polished performances, Chandi was privately grappling with the trauma of an abusive relationship, which she bravely shared on the show.
Mid-season, she took an unexpected leave of absence following a rule violation during the DCC’s Bahamas retreat. She later clarified that she had invited someone to her room, not romantically, but for emotional support during a period of personal turmoil.
Despite the setback, Chandi made a powerful return for the Cowboys’ final game before announcing her retirement. She reunited with her DCC sisters in February, attending the baby shower of former teammate Mckenzie, who cheered for the Dallas Cowboys from 2020 to 2024.
Armani Latimer

Season 2 marked Armani’s fifth and final year as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and her most impactful yet. After securing a spot on the 2024–2025 squad, she was named a group leader, recognised not only for her precision as a dancer but also for her poise, empathy, and natural leadership.
Diagnosed with Alopecia Areata at age 12, Armani spent years concealing her condition before turning to wigs in college as her hair loss progressed. This season, she opened up about her diagnosis and the emotional toll of performing in an image-driven industry, emerging as a powerful voice for self-acceptance.
Since filming ended, Armani has taken on brand partnerships with Vaseline and SheaMoisture and shared travel highlights with her followers, including a trip to Cabo for fellow alum Jessica Bowman’s hen weekend. Off the field, Armani holds a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina and continues to grow her career in the legal field.
Reece Weaver

Reece returned for season two of America’s Sweethearts as a second-year veteran and brought some big life updates with her. Off the field, she’s now a newlywed, having tied the knot with her college sweetheart (and first boyfriend), Will. The pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary in April, with Reece posting a dreamy photo from the day alongside a heartfelt caption thanking God for their journey and the opportunity to share it with others.
As she balances squad commitments with marriage, Reece’s second season shows a more grounded, confident version of herself. She was also spotted in a June 15 post on the official DCC Instagram, appearing in a group shot from the 2025 training camp line-up.
Victoria Kalina

Victoria’s journey with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders was a tumultuous one, with the cheerleader opening up on the first season of America’s Sweethearts about her struggle with depression and eating disorders throughout her tenure.
While, typically, most DCC members serve five years on the team before retiring, ultimately Kalina opted to hang up her boots after four years.
After stepping away from the squad, Victoria made the move to New York to pursue her dream of dancing with the Rockettes. These days, she shares glimpses of her life through the lens of fitness, choreography, and mental health advocacy. To celebrate the release of America’s Sweethearts season two, she recently posted a video of her final DCC performance.
Kelcey Wetterberg

Kelcey Wetterberg may have stepped off the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders stage, but she hasn’t slowed down. After five seasons with the squad, balancing intense rehearsals with full-time work as a pediatric nurse, Wetterberg ended her DCC tenure on a high, getting engaged to fellow nurse (and former Mister Supranational) Nate Crnkovich during filming.
The couple tied the knot in Omaha with a New Year’s Eve celebration in 2024. Since then, Wetterberg has continued to work in healthcare while staying close to the DCC community as an “All-Star,” appearing at events and mentoring hopefuls. She also underwent ankle surgery in 2025, documenting her recovery online.
Charly Barby

Our hearts broke in season one when DCC hopeful Charly Barby was cut during training camp, but she didn’t let that stop her.
Initially auditioning alongside now-veteran Reece Weaver, Charly quickly became a fan favourite. The two formed a fast friendship, supporting each other through every round of the process. While Reece made the final squad, Charly was sent home with encouragement to refine her technique.
Now, in the 2024/2025 season, Charly’s comeback story is complete. She made the team, proving that persistence, talent and resilience really do pay off. Since filming wrapped, she’s squeezed in some travel and stayed close with her fellow rookies, often sharing glimpses of their catch-ups on social media.
Kelly Villares

Another comeback queen is Kelly Villares, who narrowly missed out on making the team in season one. Determined to level up, she spent the year sharpening her technique and perfecting her performance in the studio.
That dedication paid off when Kelly earned her spot on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad in season 2, establishing herself as one to watch off the field, too. With brand deals from Olay, Tresemmé, Discover Cotton, Victoria’s Secret, and Charlotte Tilbury, plus recent appearances at New York Fashion Week and the DCC National Tour, she’s building serious momentum.
Anna Kate Sundvold

After making her debut as a rookie in season one of America’s Sweethearts, Anna Kate Sundvold returned to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for the 2024–2025 season—this time as a veteran. No longer just Caroline’s little sister, Anna Kate has successfully carved out her own place on the squad.
Off the field, she’s nearing her fifth anniversary with boyfriend Michael Snyder and, according to LinkedIn, continues to build her career in Financial Planning Services.
Amanda Howard

Since stepping away from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders after season two of America’s Sweethearts, Amanda Howard has been focused on her next chapter, with just as much sparkle, minus the pom poms. After three standout seasons (including Rookie of the Year and two national tours), Amanda officially hung up her boots in May 2025.
Now, she’s building her platform as a beauty, lifestyle and fashion creator, landing partnerships with Sephora, Disney+, The Smooth Company and more. She’s also been travelling through Europe with husband Joseph, documenting their adventures in Italy and Switzerland on social media.
