Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The couple, who have been fielding breakup rumours left, right and centre, have been spotted together in Budapest and on Instagram for the first time.
When Kylie Jenner shared an avalanche of birthday posts in early August in which Chalamet was notably absent, it seemed like fans’ worst fears had been realised. A source told US Weekly that the couple were “still together”.
Jenner appeared to shut down speculation when she liked Chalamet’s post promoting his film Marty Supreme last week, but this was little comfort for fans who hadn’t seen the pair together since their group trip to St Tropez in July.
Now, a Budapest café has inadvertently confirmed the couple are still going strong, sharing a happy snap on Instagram.

In the post, Chalamet and Jenner posed with two café workers. Jenner smiled for the camera while Chalamet held it up, flashing a peace sign. His shirt was tucked into his baseball cap for the shot (further fuelling speculation he’s shaved his head for Dune).
In the caption, the café owner noted that the couple “just walked in” and the staff were star-struck. “[We] were so in confusion, we could barely concentrate,” they wrote, adding: “They were super nice and thank you for coming,” tagging both stars.
According to People, it’s Timothée’s gruelling Dune 3 filming schedule that has been keeping the couple apart.
“They haven’t seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée’s been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie’s been working too,” the source said. “She visited him in July.” They noted that even though Jenner has a private jet, “the flight is still 12 hours” (long distance is tough on everyone) and “she’s a mom and works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée’s schedule is gruelling, with very little downtime.”
