Taylor Swift apologises to Nicky Minaj

The world can now go back to normal and everything is in its place because Taylor Swift has apologised to Nicki Minaj after their Twitter spat yesterday. As we recapped yesterday, Minaj vented her anger at the way women of colour are marginalised in the music industry, Swift thought she was having a go at her and everything got blown way, way up. 

Swift offered a mea culpa overnight, tweeting on Thursday,

“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki.”

Minaj graciously accepted said apology.
