Elsie Hewitt is currently the name on everybody’s lips after she revealed on Wednesday that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Pete Davidson. Hewitt’s post had all the humour we’d expect of a Saturday Night Live first lady. She posted a carousel to Instagram that included pics of her and Davidson cuddling and footage of their ultrasound appointment with the caption: “Welp, now everybody will know we’ve had sex.”

On March 19, 2o25, Page Six reported that Davidson was dating Benny Blanco’s ex-girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt, after they were spotted in Palm Beach, Florida. At the time, sources told the publication that the couple were trying to keep thingHewitt has been linked to several other Hollywood stars, including Ryan Phillippe, whom she sued for alleged abuse in a 2019 case that was settled out of court (Phillippe denied the accusations), and Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis.
Since it was first reported they were dating, the pair have made several public appearances together, most notably at a Knicks basketball game in May. They also made their red carpet debut on May 15 in New York City at the Blossom Ball, an annual fundraising gala organised by the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound).
Elsie Hewitt is certainly less well known than some of Davidson’s former girlfriends. So who is she? Hewitt is a 29-year-old British model, actor and food influencer. Born in London on March 5, 1996, she’s a Pisces and she moved to Los Angeles at age 10. She started modelling in her teens and starred in Guess’s spring/summer 2918 campaign. When she booked the campaign, she shared the news in a proud Facebook post. Hewitt wrote, “When I started modelling, I couldn’t get an agent. I met with every single agency in L.A., and time and time again, I was told my ‘look just isn’t right,’ I’m ‘too commercial,’ ‘too curvy,’ ‘not a good fit,’ etc. The point is I didn’t take no for an answer, I set many goals for myself in modelling, and Guess was a big one. It’s special to me to work with a company that embodies empowerment and confidence in the same way.”
She was also named Playboy’s Miss June in 2017. She shared in her interview with the publication that she’d been working since she was 15 and described herself as “totally independent.” According to IMDB, Hewitt has appeared in several films, including Teenage Badass (2020), Turnt (2018), Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghoulfriend? (2014) and the FX series Dave. She played the role of Suzie Huppert in Industry season 3.
Hewitt’s father is director David Henry Hewitt, and she said growing up exposed to the film industry informed her dreams of becoming an actor. “I think I have always wanted to act ever since I was little,” Hewitt revealed in a video interview to promote Upon Waking Film, in which she stars. “But you know, when you’re a little girl and everyone just wants to be an actress? When you’re little, everyone says they want to be an actor and want to be on TV. I always knew I wanted to do I, and I sort of grew up seeing it because my dad was a director.”

Pete’s most surprising relationship by a country mile was unquestionably his 10 month stint with Kim Kardashian. In October 2021 they were pictured together holding hands on a (possibly symbolic) rollercoaster after co-starring on SNL together.
The images, which were obtained by People and subsequently went viral, showing the pair enjoying the ride together. A source told the publication at the time that despite the pictures, they were “just friends”.
Of course, we know that was completely untrue, and the pair were in fact dating. By March 2022 the couple were Instagram official and by April, things were really ramping up. Pete had appeared alongside Kim at the premiere of The Kardashians and attended a White House dinner with her, the rumour mill was also reporting that he’d met her children.
By May, the pair had stunned on the Met Gala red carpet and by July, Pete had around three tattoos which paid tribute to Kim. Unfortunately, the pair called it quits the following month in August, with reports claiming that Pete’s ‘immaturity’ and the ‘long distance’ as the root cause of the breakup.

In May 2023, Wonders opened up about the relationship with Nylon magazine. “We talk about everything, and we are very open with each other about everything, and it feels like what’s happening in our relationship is very sacred,” she said.

The two the spent a weekend together in Las Vegas, and were seen boarding a private jet together in Arizona less than a week later, following Pete’s comedy gig in Phoenix. A source told the Daily Mail, it’s not serious between the two.
“Madelyn anticipates her current relationship with Pete as just a good time and it will not be her last one,” the source said. “She thinks he is hilarious, and fun and she is all about hanging out with him, but she is 25, and she doesn’t want anything serious, she wants to chase fun, and she thinks Pete thinks the same and their relationship is all about having a good time.”
“It is in no way serious, she is taking it day by day and that is all that works for her right now, Pete shouldn’t expect her to be his soulmate, she is not giving off those vibes.”
In July, The Sun reported the pair had amicably split and in September 2024 Cline confirmed in an interview with Bustle.
She said she would rather not discuss the relationship but responding to a question about what it was like to date a man whose love life “fascinates the internet” she quipped “the jokes write themselves.”
