Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, 21, and her husband Jake Bongiovi, 23, have some big news: they are new parents! The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, via adoption.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.
“And then there were 3.”
“Jake knows how important it is to me [to have a child]… I’m still really young. But my mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” Brown said during an appearance on a March 10 episode of Smartless podcast. “Since I was a baby, I told my mum, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mum just like the way my mum was to me.”
It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for Brown. She and Bongiovi—who is the son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi—met via Instagram in 2021 before announcing their engagement in 2023. They wed in a beautiful ceremony in Tuscany.
