Our Internet boyfriend Andrew Garfield appears to be off the market. The former Spider Man star hard launched his relationship with Top Gun actress Monica Barbaro at Wimbledon. Wearing coordinated preppy looks in Wimbledon White, the pair were seen walking into the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club hand-in-hand, before settling in their seats for the match between Sonay Kartal and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
Last year, Garfield was rumours to be dating Dr Kate Tomas, “a philosopher, and spiritual mentor”, but it’s not clear how long they dated for or when they split. All we know is that he’s now with Barbaro, so here’s everything we know about the Garfield’s new flame.
Who Is Andrew Garfield’s Girlfriend, Monica Barbaro?
The pair debuted their relationship on Wednesday, coordinating in Wimbledon white. She wore a floaty, silky white dress paired with Ralph Lauren’s Perrin Calfskin Sandals and a brown leather shoulder bag, also from Ralph Lauren.
Monica Barbaro is an actor who grew up in California before moving to New York City to study at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her resume is impressive, boasting roles in A Complete Unknown, in which she played Joan Baez opposite Timothée Chalamet’s Bob Dylan.
She also previously starred in the 2022 megahit reboot, Top Gun: Maverick. For the reality TV fans, you may also recommend her face from the spoof Bachelor series, UnREAL, Earlier this year, Barbaro was also announced as a Dior brand ambassador, specifically for the women’s collections.
On her Instagram, Barbaro regularly posts insights into her life in Los Angeles, including everything from glamorous hikes to dancing around her living room with her adorable dog, August. She also often posts photos with her celebrity friends, like Glen Powell, who she recently attended Glastonbury Festival with.

Dr Kate Tomas was first linked to Andrew Garfield in 2024, when she was seen on a double date with the actor and Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham on March 29. The two had their arms around each other as they hit the town in Malibu with Bridgers and Burnham, for a casual date at Zinque restaurant.
According to her Instagram, Dr Kate Tomas is a philosopher, artist and ritualist. She’s also an “advisor to global leaders”.
If that’s a little vague, her website offers plenty of detail, including that she holds a PhD in philosophical theology from Oxford University — hence, Dr Kate. In fact, Dr Kate’s PhD is one of the reasons she justifies charging $3000 (1,500 GBP) for 45 minutes of psychic reading. Wild.

It’s hard to believe these two only dated for four years — almost 10 years ago.
The Amazing Spider Man co-stars met on the set of said film in 2010, and were later seen together on a date in November 2011. They split in 2015, however, they continued to speak fondly of each other in the press, with Stone staying in 2016 that Garfield is someone she “still loves very much”. That same year, Garfield chose Emma as the person he’d take to a desert island.
