Shampoo bars are not a new concept – popular brand Shampoo With A Purpose has been producing them for years, for example. But while the idea of using a physical “soap” bar to wash your hair has been around forever, we’ve been hesitant to get on board.
This is likely due to the fact that soap and hair-washing brings to mind 20-something men in sharehouses using one soap for everything (gross). But shampoo bars are not the same as soap, and they’re starting to gain traction thanks to being super sustainable and, well, actually working.
Here are several you can try in Australia right now.
