Here’s a mistake you’ll never not be able to notice in Clueless: Cher Horowitz appears to have two last names.
Cher is referred to as “Cher Horowitz” throughout the film in dialogue. But in the below scene, where she discusses her report card with dad Mel, the name on top of her report card is not that.
It says “Cher Hamilton.” Later in the film, when Mel chucks his daughter’s report card to one side, the envelope can be seen. It’s addressed to “Melvin Hamilton”.
It’s likely the film’s producers made a last-minute name change to Horowitz, and the props just weren’t updated. Mind-blowing, isn’t it?
